Lula Lake Cabin

Positive: The view was spectacular. The location was in the middle of nowhere, so it was peaceful and serene. We enjoyed the fire pit to make smores with the kids. Negative: For such a large cleaning fee we expected the house to be cleaner. Also, there was an insect/bug problem inside the house including millipedes, cave crickets, roaches, and some type of worm in all of the rooms. The lights throughout the house flickered constantly. The lights would flash even when they were turned off which disrupted sleep. Host explained road beforehand and we handled it fine but BEWARE road is hard to navigate if you aren't used to driving off road. !!4WD or higher clearance vehicle needed!!

This was a great spot for our anniversary getaway with beautiful views and homey accommodations, but the road to the sit Positive: Picturesque views of the mountains, secluded and very private, comfortable accommodations Negative: The property can only be accessed through a 1.3 mile gravel pathway that is very rugged. I would recommend an off road or all wheel drive vehicle.

Positive: Such a beautiful place to get away from it all. Cloudland Canyon is really close.
